UAE fuel petrol and diesel prices rose by 7 per cent to 12 per cent for March 2021.
According to the Fuel Price Follow-up Committee, the price of Special 95 rose by 12 per cent or 21 fils to Dhs2.01 per litre, while the price of Super 98 rose by 11 per cent or 21 fils to Dhs2.12 per litre and the price of E-Plus 91 rose by 12 per cent or 21 fils to Dhs1.93 per litre.
Diesel prices rose by 7 per cent or 14 fils to Dhs2.01 per litre.
On the other hand, the price of Opec basket of thirteen crudes stood at $65.42 a barrel on Thursday, compared with $64.00 the previous day, according to Opec Secretariat calculations.
The Opec Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
