Dubai has closed three establishments for not adhering to COVID-19 guidelines.
The Dubai Municipality strengthened its inspection campaigns on establishments to ensure their commitment to precautionary measures.

The municipality said, “The total commitment rate reached 99 per cent, the number of inspection visits reached 2,378, 3 establishments were closed, and 23 warnings were made.”
The authorities said 2 salons were closed in Al Karama area due to overcrowding, while a restaurant was shut down in Al Barsha 1 for not adhering to social distancing.
Dubai Economy said that during the month of February, 10 businesses were closed, 93 were warned and 246 were fined for not following precautionary measures set to limit COVID-19.
Dubai Economy emphasizes on the importance of following the measures and report any violation.
Dubai has been clamping down on activities barred due to coronavirus.
In February, the authorities have issued fines up to Dhs50, 000 to multiple entities for breaking COVID-19 rules.
Dubai Police fined two yacht operators, desert camp organisers and a private party organiser for COVID-19 violations.
The health experts have issued rules and regulation for holding social gatherings in the UAE.
The officials said people should not hold social gathering of more than 4 people without facemasks.
Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lt Gen Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, in January urged everyone to follow the precautionary measures and social distancing guidelines to curb the spread of the virus.
The authorities have urged everyone to report any violation of COVID-19 guidelines with the police or the Dubai Consumer Application.
