The Dubai Municipality closed a salon and three food establishments for their failure to comply with the precautionary and preventive measures against COVID-19.
This was during field visits carried out by the municipal inspectors who conducted 2,348 visits.
During those visits, the inspectors fined seven establishments, while issued warning notices against other 37. Generally, the rate of commitment to the precautionary measures of the visited establishments was 98 per cent, the Municipality said.
The number of establishments that were found meeting the public safety requirements and fully adhering to the preventive measures was 2,341, according to the Dubai Municipality.
On Saturday, Dubai closed four establishments and fined other four, while 25 received warning notices for their failure to comply with the precautionary and preventive measures against COVID-19. This was during field visits carried out by the municipal inspectors who visited 194 establishments of which 161 were found meeting the public safety requirements and fully adhering to the preventive measures.
Generally, the rate of commitment to the precautionary measures of the visited establishments reached 98 per cent, the Municipality said.
Dubai Economy said that during the month of February, 10 businesses were closed, 93 were warned and 246 were fined for not following precautionary measures set to limit COVID-19.
