Arab visitor jailed for forging passport in Dubai

An Arab visitor has been referred to criminal court for forging passport stamps to travel inside and outside Dubai.
Official records indicate that the incident took place during last January, when the defendant was trying to leave the country.
The airport officer noticed that the European passport was forged, and immediately informed authorities about the incident.
The defendant was apprehended and questioned about the forged documents.
He confessed to getting the forged passport from an Asian country in an attempt to travel around the world without being questioned.
He was eventually arrested and prosecuted on forgery charges.
