The salesman will be deported after serving his sentence.
Official records indicate that the 28-year-old victim has filed a police report against the defendant, claiming that he had scammed her by promising to get her an employment visa for the mentioned amount of money.
Two weeks after receiving the money, the defendant sent the fake visa through WhatsApp, and promised to deliver her passport awhile later as the process will take a longer time.
After long two months, the victim received her passport without the employment visa, so she went to the nearest Amer Center to check the visa copy he sent on WhatsApp, only to find that it was a fake one.
A police report was filed against the defendant, and he was arrested and prosecuted on forgery and scam charges.
