Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Tuesday approved the full restructuring of the Dubai government in preparation for a new phase.
“The Dubai government will become more flexible, responsive and efficient,” tweeted Sheikh Mohammed.
The statement came during the Dubai Council meeting chaired by Sheikh Mohammed.

At the Dubai Council meeting also approved 5-year plan to raise the value of Dubai's foreign trade from Dhs1.4 to Dhs2 trillion.
During the meeting the council also approved the restructuring of Dubai Chamber and the formation of 3 separate chambers: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the Dubai Chamber of International Trade and the Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy.
The council also approved Dubai International Trade Roadmap, which includes shipping and air routes that currently connect to more than 400 cities around the world
The move aims to expand this network with 200 more cities. Dubai will be home to the world's main airport and ports.
