Ajman DED participates in ‘Earth Hour’

The Ajman Department of Economic Development (Ajman DED) participates on Saturday in the activities of ‘Earth Hour’; one of the world largest annual environmental initiatives, by turning off the lights in its building, and urging its employees and economic establishments to interact and turn off unnecessary lights and electrical devices for an hour from 8:30 to 9:30 PM in buildings belonging to these institutions and homes.
Taking part in the initiative is for the purpose of spreading environmental awareness among members of society, as well as supporting global efforts aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions, finding sustainable solutions to global warming and climate change, reducing electricity consumption, preserving natural resources, and ensuring their sustainability for future generations.
