The UAE fuel prices will rise for April by 8-9 per cent for gasoline and 3 per cent for diesel including the 5 per cent VAT, as announced by the suppliers.
The price of Super 98 will rise by 8 per cent or 17 fils to Dhs2.29 per litre, up from Dhs2.12 per litre in March, while the price of Special 95 will rise by 8 per cent or 16 fils to Dhs2.17 per litre, up from Dhs2.01 per litre in March.
E-Plus 91 will rise by 9 per cent or 17 fils to Dhs2.10 per litre, up from Dhs1.93 per litre in March. Diesel prices will rise by 3 per cent or 7 fils to Dhs2.22 per litre, up from Dhs2.15 per litre in March.

On the other hand, the price of Opec basket of thirteen crudes stood at $61.63 a barrel on Thursday, compared with $61.61 the previous day, according to Opec Secretariat calculations.
