The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,084 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday.
In addition to the new cases, 2,202 individuals have fully recovered and five people passed away.
Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry has conducted 244, 422 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 461,444 positive cases, 445, 355 have recovered and 1,497 passed away.
