An unidentified attacker shot two people in front of a hospital in Paris on Monday, the source said that one person was dead and badly injured another before fleeing the scene, a police source said.
The attacker fled on a motorcycle, the source said, adding that nothing was known about the motive for the attack.

The attack was carried out at the Henry Dunant private geriatric hospital owned by the Red Cross in the upmarket 16th district, sources close to the investigation said.
BFM television reported that the person killed is a man and the person injured is a woman who was working as a security agent for the hospital.
The suspect got away on a motorcycle, the sources said.
"One person died and one is seriously injured," a fire service source said.
The hospital runs a Covid-19 vaccination centre.
