A 22-year-old Arab man was booked and prosecuted by Dubai Courts for possessing and trafficking in 220g of hashish in Dubai.
The incident dates back to last February when police received a tip-off about the defendant’s drug activities in one of Dubai’s areas.
Accordingly, police carried out investigations a plan was set up to catch the defendant red-handed.

At the time of his arrest, the defendant had a plastic bag of hashish inside his pockets, which he admitted he was going to sell it to a user for Dhs1,200.
He also confessed to getting the hashish supply from an Asian man who receives payment through different bank accounts during each operation.
He was apprehended and referred to criminal court by the Dubai Public Prosecution.
