The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2, 081 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.
In addition to the new cases, 1,842 individuals have recovered and four people passed away.
Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry has carried out 203, 232 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
The UAE has recorded 504, 872 coronavirus cases since the outbreak, 486,920 have recovered and 1, 565 passed away.
