Asian duo steal equipment worth over Dhs235,000 from Dubai warehouse

An Asian duo, aged 26 and 30, were jailed and prosecuted on robbery charges for breaking into a warehouse and stealing equipment worth over Dhs235,000.
The incident happened in August 2019, when the company’s manager received a call from an employee, stating that the equipment warehouse was broken into and robbed of great amounts of pipes and valves.
Accordingly, police were alerted about the robbery and they reached to the scene to carry out investigations.
Investigations revealed that the defendants were involved in the robbery, and they were arrested a couple of months later.
As police questioned them, the defendants confessed to breaking into the warehouse to steal the equipment and sell them to scrap shops.
