UAE reports 1,766 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths and 1,728 recoveries

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 211,462 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours and detected 1,766 new coronavirus cases.

The new cases bring the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 532,710.

“All the  infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care,” said Ministry in a statement.

All the tests were conducted using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 rose to 1,607 on Friday after the Ministry announced three more deaths due to COVID-19 complications.

An additional 1,728 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, which brings the total number of recoveries in the UAE to 513,068.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery.

The Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The Ministry has urged all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.
