The Emirati adventurer Khalifa Al Mazrouei succeeded in capturing pictures of a nebula and a galaxy, using advanced machines for photographing astronomy from Shuka area, south of Ras Al Khaimah.
This area is characterised by low light pollution, which allows photographing celestial bodies.
Al Mazrouei explained that over the past two days he had taken a picture of the Trifid Nebula, which is about 5,200 light-years away from the solar system. It is located in the Milky Way galaxy.
He also captured photos for the Whirlpool Galaxy, which is 31 million light-years away from Earth.
“Photographing celestial bodies is one of my hobbies, and it requires technological tools and programming knowledge,” Al Mazrouei said.
Al Mazrouei is an adventurer young Emirati who loves to travel. He is also a professional diver and an amateur astronomy.
