The Traffic and Patrols Department of Ajman Police launched a traffic campaign to arrest violators of the traffic laws, which resulted in the release of 506 traffic offenses, 19 motorcycles, and 26 violating electric bicycles.
In addition, 89 vehicles were seized due to engine enhancement, driving without a license, driving in a manner that poses a danger to the public, and other prescribed traffic offenses.
This traffic campaign aims to control road safety and enhance safety and security and raise the level of traffic safety.
Major Rashid Humaid Khalifa Bin Hindi Al-Ali, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police stated that the campaign targeted all areas and roads of the emirate to achieve traffic security and safety to all visitors to these places.
The seizures in this campaign also focused on controlling cars equipped with additives to increase the speed of the vehicle or make loud sounds that would disturb the residents and other violations of traffic laws.
The Director of Traffic and Patrols Department stressed the rejection of any negative behaviors or phenomena in violation of traffic rules that must be respected and abided by, and the commitment to preserve road security and people's lives.
