A Saudi father was widely praised on social media after he pardoned his son’s convicted killer minutes before his execution.
According to reports in Saudi media, the kind-hearted father did not demand compensation such as blood money from his son killer’s family but set a condition that the convict or his family will not celebrate the pardon.

According to details Amrani’s son lost his life in a brawl around four years ago.
As soon as the news of forgiveness was shared on social media, Amrani got huge applause from the netizens for his noble gesture.
Reacting to the news a social media user posted a Quranic verse of Surah Al Shurah, which says: “The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): But if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah: For (Allah) loveth not those who do wrong.”
Another Saudi citizen tweeted a Quranic verse 32 of Surah Al Maidah: “If anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole humanity.”
