A video of two bees working together to open a bottle of soft drink has garnered millions of views on Twitter.
In the video, two bees are seen working in unison to open an orange flavored Fanta bottle.
According to video licensee "Viral Hog," who shared the video on YouTube on Sunday, it was filmed in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on May 17th.
A woman is heard saying, in Portuguese, "The bees have cooperated to steal my soda."
She said, before the bees finally lifted the cap off the Fanta bottle, "Look, so smooth ... darn!"
Twitter users were stunned by the bees, as 3.4 million people watched a video shared by "Buitengebieden" on Tuesday.
One Twitter user wrote, "Unbelievable, what a fun to watch."
"The innate intelligence of nature!"
Another wrote: "Who needs a bottle opener when you can get two bees to do it for you."
Bees are widely known to be intelligent, and are often forced to adapt to different food sources, and different environments.
In fact, bees work together to create hives and can fly up to 5 kilometres to find flowers and other nectar sources, according to the conversation.
The nectar is then returned to build the hive — and the honeycomb — on which the invertebrates feed.
"Ants, bees and termites all have a very high intelligence," biologist and invertebrate specialist Mark Srour told Atlas Obscura.
"They have to get to know their nest mates, and communicate with them a lot."
Although soft drinks, including orange-flavored fanta, are not a natural source of nectar, bees are still attracted to them.
