Mysterious fire breaks out over the waters of the beach in Nigeria

A video that surfaced across social media platforms shows an unexplainable fire erupted over the waters of a beach in the Nigerian city of Lagos.

The raging fire formed a thick tall cloud of smoke.

Nigerians have expressed concern over the incident while some passed funny remarks.

“Something is falling from outer space ? trust me alien ship or something,” commented a user.

Another wrote, “Wow is a marine kingdom on fire???‍♀️.”

Speculations were made by people that the fire out due to the oil spillage and it occurs from the release of liquid petroleum hydrocarbons.

“Obviously this is an oil spillage. Water and oil don't mix well. So the fire will only spread and burn more ?,” guessed another the cause of the fire.
