The highest temperature recorded over the country on Friday was 51ºC in Sueihan, Al Ain at 2pm UAE time, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) stated.
The NCM said that the lowest temperature recorded over the country on Friday was 22.3°C in Damtha, Al Ain at 5:45am UAE time.
In the meantime, the NCM has said temperatures expected on Saturday in the country will be in the range of —
27-44 ºC in Abu Dhabi,
28-42 ºC in Dubai,
26-43 ºC in Sharjah,
28-39 ºC in Ajman,
24-39˚C in Umm Al Quwain,
28-36 ºC in Ras Al Khaimah,
31-37 ºC in Fujairah, and
31-48 ºC in Al Ain.
It has also indicated that the weather on Saturday in expected to be fair to partly cloudy and low clouds appear over the east coast by morning.
It may be hot during the daytime, humid by night and Sunday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a chance of fog or mist formation.
Light to moderate southwesterly becoming northwesterly winds, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 30 km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
It also said that the weather on Sunday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy and low clouds appearing over the east coast by morning may be convective over the mountains by the afternoon.
It could be hot during daytime, humid by night and Monday morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas especially westward.
Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly and northeasterly winds, freshening at times during the daytime, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 35 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
