Abu Dhabi Police airlift COVID-19 critical patient to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Hospital

The air ambulance of the Abu Dhabi Police Aviation Department on Wednesday morning transported a UAE national, 60, to the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Hospital due to his critical condition.
The Operations Room of the Abu Dhabi Police Aviation had been notified by the Command and Control Centre about a COVID-19 patient, who was in a very critical condition in Madinat Zayed Hospital.
It was reported that he was in need of urgent intensive medical care.
Instantly, the helicopter ambulance took off for Madinat Zayed Hospital from where it transferred the patient to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.
He was provided with the necessary medical care while being transferred until his arrival at the hospital.
The Abu Dhabi Police Aviation Department carries out many humanitarian and community tasks, including ambulance services, search and rescue, aerial photography, road monitoring, and others, using the latest equipment, devices and mechanisms.
