This is part of Emirates full digital verification of COVID-19 medical records connected to testing and vaccination for travellers based in the UAE.
The Emirates ID is optional for travellers to save time at the airport.
An Emirates staffer will ask the traveller to scan the ID at the counter. Once scanned, the staffer will be able to see full details of the traveller’s record, that is the vaccination date, vaccine name, and latest PCR test results.
It is noteworthy that passengers must abide by the PCR-test time interval prior to boarding the flight.

Moreover, customers who have received their COVID-19 vaccination at a DHA health centre in Dubai can, together with their COVID-19 PCR test results, have their documents synchronised during flight check-in.
The new streamlined verification procedures will enable secure and faster processing times for customers departing from Dubai International Airport.
The information will then be matched with the entry requirements of the destination.
The Dubai Airport will accept travellers from abroad if they have been given the vaccine approved by the UAE authorities.
Following are the vaccines approved by the UAE:
