“Youngsters inspired by different social media posts are rushing to join the gyms but once they start training they realise that a six-pack is not a joke to get in days but takes time, hard training and proper diet,” he said.
Most people over the age of 35 are normally joining gyms to lose fat. “I have many clients with me who are adopting my diet plan and workout schedule and within months they are getting their desired results. I had many clients who had Type-2 diabetes but now it is reversed due to the tailored-made diet and training plans,” Cheema said.

Cheema landed in the UAE in 2018 and started working as a civil engineer but soon moved to his profession of bodybuilding as he is running a gym in Sharjah where scores of residents are attending various training sessions.
He was born and raised in Bheronwala Cheema near Daska in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan where he started bodybuilding training and appeared in local competitions and also won many titles. “I was working hard to build my body for competition as most of my time was spent in the gym to train. On my parents’ wish I was also studying and completed my Civil Engineering,” he said.
“There were misconceptions in our society about the starting bodybuilding at a young age. Everyone was saying that my growth will stop due to the joining of bodybuilding gym at an early age. When I started at the age 14 years I was 4’8” and now I’m 5’8” and I had no problems at all. If one cannot train under the guidance of a professional then he might have some issues.”
