Fully vaccinated individuals are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 PCR test in case they have approved vaccination cards of not less than 14 days with valid QR codes for the first or the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The approved two-dose-vaccines are (Pfizer-AstraZeneca-Moderna-Sinopharm-Sinovac-Sputnik), while the solo-dose vaccine is Johnson and Johnson.
Travellers coming from high-risk countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, India, Latin America, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam) must also provide vaccination cards, but also will have to take an ID NOW COVID-19 test upon arrival.
If the results are positive, they will have to proceed with a PCR test. In the event that the PCR test is positive, the passenger will be transferred to the designated hospital, where the protocol in force in this regard is applied.
The COVID-19 vaccination card must be issued from official entity, and has no abrasion, deletion or addition, as well as containing a QR Code. The card is accepted after verifying the authority issuing it, the authorities said.
