A 38-year-old European man was apprehended and prosecuted by the Dubai Public Prosecution on drug-trafficking charges, after facilitating hashish to his female friend in Dubai.
The incident occurred in February, when the female friend was caught with 5.69 grammes of hashish.
During interrogation, the woman revealed that she had got the drugs from her European friend for free.
An anti-narcotics team hatched a plan to catch the European red-handed.

Eventually, the European drug facilitator was caught.The police seized 122 grammes of hashish from him.
They were both prosecuted on drug trafficking charges and referred to the criminal court to receive maximum jail-term for the crime.
In February, a 27-year-old European barber was jailed and referred to the criminal court on drug charges, after he was caught using and facilitating hashish at his Dubai residence.
The incident dates back to last October, when police received a tip-off about the defendant’s drug activity, and a plan was plotted to place him under arrest.
Police teams took all necessary measures to swoop on the defendant and seize the drugs.
The defendant admitted to using drugs and claimed that he got it from a friend, who was also arrested by police.
