Emirates has conformed that passenger flights from Pakistan to Dubai remained suspended until further notice.
Emiartes said, “Sorry about the confusion, the flights from Pakistan remain suspended and we do not have a resumption day yet as it'll depend on government mandate. Please continue to monitor our website for travel updates.”
Earlier the airline said flight may start from July 7.
The national carrier urged the passengers to check its website for latest travel updates.
The inbound UAE flights have been suspended for travellers from Pakistan as part of the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
While responding to a query from a passenger Shams Abbas, the Emirates said on Twitter: “Hi Shams, there are flights operating starting the 7th of July from Pakistan to Dubai. Changes may happen as the situation remains dynamic. We suggest to keep an eye on our travel updates.”
In the same thread it said that all flights are suspended.
Hundreds of Pakistanis are stuck in their native country due to suspension of flights.
However, the UAE nationals, UAE Golden Visa holders and diplomatic missions’ officials who comply with updated COVID-19 protocols are permitted to enter the country.
The UAE has taken strict measures to contain the spread of coronavirus, which has claimed nearly four million lives across the world.
