Teams from the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) brought under control a fire that erupted in an electronics warehouse in Musaffah Industrial Area. No casualties were reported.
Earlier, the firefighting and ambulance teams received a report on a fire from the operations room at ADCDA at 4.56pm on Monday. The teams rushed to the scene of the fire and brought it under control.

The ADCDA pointed out that the site was handed over to the competent authorities for investigation into the cause of the fire and the consequential damage.
It emphasised the necessity for the public to abide by the safety and prevention rules in residential and commercial buildings and all other facilities. It also urged motorists to give way to Civil Defence vehicles and ambulances to enable them not to arrive late at accident sites. It also called on residents not to crowd sites where fire take place to ensure their safety.
