The Dubai Police’s Innovation Council has recently launched an innovation platform that is fully devoted to engaging with the public and providing opportunities to help solve various challenges within the UAE community.
During a press conference that was held on Wednesday, Dubai Police officials revealed that the platform targets innovative individuals, enterprises, entrepreneurs and community members of all age to take part in suggesting solutions and work together with Dubai Police.

“Individuals from inside and outside the UAE can provide innovative solutions and be awarded with Dhs25,000 prize,” officials said.
The variety of challenges to be solved relate to policing, safety, traffic management, crime prevention and reduction, and customer happiness.
The main focus was one four challenges that include reducing traffic accidents for public transport, reducing traffic accident fatalities to motorcycles delivery, raising awareness of the dangers of drug abuse, as well as online extortion and cyber bullying.
The four challenges are posted on a live platform which individuals can directly open to share suggestions and solutions based on solid studies, and can officially be partners with Dubai Police in implementing the chosen solutions.
