The UAE authorities have urged Emiratis not to travel to certain countries in the world, which the Emirates included in the prohibited list.
The UAE has banned the entry from these nations due to the emergence of new COVID-19 variants.
The Asian countries are:
India,
Pakistan,
Bangladesh,
Nepal,
Sri Lanka, and
Vietnam

Uganda,
Sierra Leone,
Liberia,
South Africa,
and Nigeria
The decision was taken by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation after a detailed meeting with Emergency Crisis teams in the UAE.
The list has exemptions for UAE diplomatic missions in these countries.
Medical cases have no restrictions.
There are officials and delegates who have business interests.
The authorities said that the statement was made in light with the current travel season.

They said that the world is going through tough circumstances due to the pandemic.
The health experts in the country urged Emiratis to comply all the measures, and avoid travel at all cost to these destinations for their safety.
The authorities told Emiratis to report their case if they are infected with virus during their travel.
The experts would help them with the procedure and measures, such as the self-isolation and medical treatment.
They must also notify the UAE missions in host countries on dire circumstances.
The authorities clarified that infected Emiratis would be brought back to the UAE after completing the procedures in the host country.
The ministry calls urged all Emiratis to register in the 'Twajudi' service before commencing their journey.
