The Abu Dhabi Health body has announced that a unique Contact Tracing Assistant System has been launched to monitor and prevent new COVID-19 cases in the country.
The new system will strengthen efforts to monitor, predict and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
It will obtain information from positive patients through an online chat.

The data would be used to check for symptoms, number of people in touch with the patient and recent travel itinerary.
This will be done to ensure all the contacts are isolating during the disease’s incubation period.
The chat will be available in Arabic and English for all users.
If a person tests COVID positive, an SMS would be sent to the infected patients for downloading the virtual chat.
The new system would also ask for a list of possible contacts 48 hours before the positive result.
