The emergency and crisis teams in Ras Al Khaimah have extends the implementation of COVID-19 preventive and precautionary measures until Aug. 31.
The Ras Al Khaimah Media Office said attendance at all public events, exhibitions and activities, including sports, cultural, social and artistic, are restricted to only those who have received a COVID-19 vaccination or are participating in clinical trials of a vaccine.
The media office said a negative PCR test result would be required. The test must be obtained within a maximum period of 48 hours prior to the date of the event.
A vaccination proof can only be presented through the AI Hosn app.
The following are the guidelines and procedures:
1- Capacity at public beaches parks is reduced to 70%.
2- Public transport, cinemas, recreational events and activities, fitness centers and gyms, hotel swimming pools and beaches will operate at a capacity of 50%.
3- Shopping malls are to operate at 60% capacity.

4- Family gatherings and community events, such as wedding, to be limited to 10 people. Funerals will have a maximum of 20 people.
5- Social distance of 2 metres must be maintained and wearing a face mask is mandatory in public places.
6- A 2-metre distance between tables in restaurant and cafes, with maximum of 4 people at a table, except for the members of the same family.
These guidelines were issued to curb the spread of coronavirus in the UAE.
