VIDEO: Trailer smashes into several cars at a traffic intersection in Saudi Arabia

A surveillance camera in Muhayil, one of the governorates in Asir Region, Saudi Arabia, documented on Monday a horrific traffic accident.
The video showed a trailer driver losing control at a traffic intersection and smashing into several cars.
Two persons died, while other two sustained injuries, including one in a critical condition.
Spokesman of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Ahmed Al Alami, explained that the operations room of the Authority in the region received a report of a collision on Monday at exactly 09:38am.
He indicated that when the ambulance teams arrived at the scene, two people were found dead on the spot and two others sustained injuries, including one in a serious condition.
They were provided with the first aid at the scene before transferring them to Muhayil Public Hospital.
One of the surveillance cameras documented the trailer’s collision with other cars at the intersection of Al Dirs.
The accident resulted in the truck overturning horribly after it collided with a number of vehicles.
The authorities are still investigating the incident, as the material losses caused by the collision are not yet clear.
