Sharjah is all set to open Al Suhub Rest House on the peak of a mountain in Khorfakkan during Eid Al Adha, the Sharjah Government said.
The Sharjah Government Media Bureau said on Twitter, “Contemplate the beauty of the city of Khorfakkan from a height of 580 metres above sea level through the Al Suhub Rest House… Stay tuned for the opening on Eid Al-Adha.”
The Al Suhub Rest House is at an altitude of 580 metres above sea level, and will give a breathtaking view of the city of Khorfakkan from all directions.
The Ruler of Sharjah His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi directed the establishment of the Al Suhub Rest House during the “Direct Line” programme broadcast on Sharjah TV and Radio in 2020.
It should be noted that there are several recently completed projects in Khorfakkan and other projects are in progress.
Among those completed projects are Lu’lu’yah Park on an area of 1,200 square metres, at a total cost of Dhs1.3 million.
It includes a lawn play area, a children’s playground and a farm building with energy-saving light poles.
The engineering department also completed the construction of Al-Zubara Park, covering an area of 2,350 square meters at a cost of Dhs1 million. It has all the modern amenities.
