When it comes to checking the coronavirus pandemic, nations around the world are taking no chances. And that includes Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam. The authorities there are pulling out all stops to ensure that the people abide by the rules.
In a new development, three people were caught violating the regulations and instructions related to Hajj in Saudi Arabia. The accused did not obtain the mandatory permit to perform Hajj and they will be fined SAR10,000 (Dhs9,793) each according to the rules, according to Brigadier General Sami Al-Shuwairekh, the official spokesperson of Hajj Security Forces Command.
