The UAE will grant 100,000 Golden Visas to the top brass in the coding field under the National Programme for coders and programmers.
The programme was launched His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to boost UAE’s economy and make UAE a hub for digitalisation.
The move aims at developing talent, expertise, and innovation in the field of coding.
The initiative will provide entrepreneurs and coders new financing options and support their innovative projects that will help the national economy in the long run.
The authorities said that several initiatives will come into being to support this national programme.
There will be a platforms to link coders with private and academic sectors so that they can be nurtured from the beginning.
Some of the best and handpicked coder will be granted the Golden Visa.
The programme will focus on developing the skills and brushing up the talents of Emirati coders so they can become the world’s best and support UAE’s growth and its different social and humanitarian projects.
In the next phase of the programme, coders will be invited to the UAE to find and solve 100 government, economic, technological, health and services challenges.
The programme will also organise 10 hackathon sessions to bring top-notch coders to support national efforts and making the digital world a safer place.
This will help create jobs and establish startups in the UAE.
