Free parking for motorists in Sharjah during Eid Al Adha holidays

The Emirate of Sharjah has announced free public parking for motorists during the three-day Eid holidays.
Free parking is not applicable on Arafat Day.
Residents can avail the offer from July 20-22th, from 10 to 12 Zul Hijjah.
Sharjah Municipality said on social media that all parking meters would be active from Monday, July 19.
The authorities announced that Blue Board’s 7-day paid parking zone would be active during the holiday period.
Residents have been urged to avoid fines by paying attention to the parking signs during these holidays.
On the other hand, based on the vision and directives of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the authorities announced the provision of 1,146 free annual parking subscriptions for the elderly.
This is part of a community initiative aimed at exempting senior citizens from public parking fees and enabling them to park in the parking slots any time.
