Sheikh Khalifa orders release of 855 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha

UAE President has pardoned and ordered to release 855 prisoners, who were serving various sentences in different jails, ahead of Eid Al Adha.
The gesture is part of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's humanitarian initiatives.
The move also reflects the values of forgiveness and tolerance to give the prisoners an opportunity to start a new chapter of their life and alleviate their families hardships.
President Khalifa's annual pardon ahead of Eid Al Adha aims to enhance family cohesion and bonds, brings about happiness to mothers and children and give the released prisoners the opportunity to rethink their future and return to the track of successful social and professional life.
