The power couple of Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik have been granted a ten-year UAE Golden Visa.
The superstar couple became the latest addition to the long list of sports personnel, who have been given the Golden Visa by the UAE.
Indian ace Sania Mirza is credited to have put the country’s eves tennis on global map single-handedly, leaving a blaze to be trailed by the young aspirants for generations to come.
She has won several accolades and laurels for India and her cabinet is adorned with the trophies, which prove her credentials as the most decorated women tennis player in a country of one billion plus.
On the other hand, her celebrity husband Malik has won almost everything in his long cricketing career which is there to win.
He has led Pakistan in all formats of the game and is considered as one of the most loved Pakistani cricketers ever.
The celebrity couple tied the knot in 2008 and have made Dubai as their second home since then.
When Sania, who was not only a tennis player but a diva, fashionista, a trendsetter and a trailblazer met a dashing, handsome and muscular Shoaib, who was also the heart-throb of the nation, the Cupid’s arrow struck and the inevitable had to happen. And the courtship culminated into marriage soon.
Both were swayed away in the waves of emotions and defied all the odds to be united happily ever after. Even the boundaries of their respective nations failed to thwart them and both found their new dream abode in a peaceful heaven called the UAE.
