An Arab employee, 46-year-old, was arrested and referred to criminal court for threatening the wellbeing of a salesman and his family inside their Dubai residence.
During last June, the victim filed a police report against the defendant, stating that he was attacked by the defendant inside his house in Al Aweer Area.
He testified, “I was inside the washroom when I heard loud shouting and smashing outside where my siblings were.”

The victim head out and saw the defendant with a hammer in his hand, which he used to break the door bell, the curtain frame and lights around the house.
The victim warned him that he would call police, but the defendant paid no attention to his words and continued to smash things in the house.
The defendant threatened to harm the wellbeing of the family with the hammer, all with the intention of getting them out of the house.
Police were called to the scene and have spoken to the defendant and handled the situation professionally.
The reason behind the defendant’s attack was not disclosed in the court records. Lastly, he was detained and taken to jail to be prosecuted on assault charges for attacking the victim and his family.
