Sharjah Charity International provided 10,000 Iftar meals to workers in the Sajaa Industrial Area on Monday as part of the initiatives of its campaign on Eid Al Adha.
Rashid Saleh Bin Hammad, Director of the Resource Development Department, said, “The initiative aims to involve community members on this honourable occasion for Muslims, and to provide meals for workers. The association has been implementing this initiative on several occasions, noting that the initiative was well received by the workers, who expressed their happiness with this generous gesture.”
The Sharjah Charity distributed thousands of Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan at 116 distribution points that include all cities and regions of the emirate.
Abdullah Sultan Bin Khadim, Executive Director, confirmed that the Iftar project is one of the main programmes included in the campaign projects, as it emphasises the values of giving and is a favourite of donors. The association began distributing Iftar meals at 116 distribution points that included workers in the headquarters.
