India reported on Tuesday 30,093 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said, the lowest such figure in four months.
India's tally of infections stands at 406,130, the data showed, with the death toll rising by 374. On March 30, there were 354 deaths reported due to the pandemic.

A total of 45,254 people were discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total discharge to 30,353,710 till date from hospitals and health centres as the virus continued to infect less than one lakh people over the last 42 days, according to the Union Health Ministry.
Sunday's 1.47 million tests for COVID-19 were this month's lowest yet.
The country has 406,130 active cases presently and has witnessed a total of 414,482 deaths so far.
The total number of samples tested so far has reached 447,341,133.
A total of 41,1846,401 COVID vaccine doses were administered in India, including 5,267,309 in the last 24 hours, health ministry has mentioned in its statement.
