Emirates airlines added Miami to its growing list.
The flight took off this morning (Thursday) from Dubai International Airport to Miami, inaugurating the airline's first passenger service to this famous coastal metropolis, its second stop in Florida, and the first new destination for Emirates since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Emirates flight EK213 departed at 3:10 am UAE time.
With the new service to Miami, which will operate at a rate of four flights per week, the Emirates network in the United States will cover 12 destinations with more than 10 flights per day.
The new service to Miami is a gateway to many destinations.
The carrier is currently operating to the United States at more than 60% of its capacity before the pandemic, and continues to expand its presence in line with the increasing pace of passenger traffic growth.
The new service to Miami is a gateway to many destinations in Central and South America and the Caribbean islands. Passengers in these areas will also be able to use the Emirates network, which currently covers more than 120 destinations.
In addition to launching the new Miami service, since the beginning of July, Emirates Airlines has resumed its flights to Nice (France), Mexico City, Phuket (Thailand), Lyon (France), Mauritius and Malta.
