The coronavirus pandemic has affected millions of lives around the globe. Among the category most affected are students, be it school or college-going. They have been confined to their homes for months, switched to a life revolving around online classes guided by their institutions and teachers.
While the online classes have become the new norm, a good number of students appear to feel a trifle stifled because of being cooped up in their homes for long hours, days at a stretch.
In such circumstances, the decision to reopen schools and colleges in some states in India is very welcome. Karnataka has already announced that colleges in the state would reopen from Monday, July 26.
There is also another piece of heartwarming news. To the delight of thousands of Indian students in the UAE, the NEET exams will be held in Dubai for the first time. The students, it goes without saying, are very happy and relieved.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is very important for Indian curriculum schools.
And for the first time ever, the qualifying exams for medical schools in India will be held in Dubai.
The Ministry of Education in India has also officially announced the creation of the (UG) 2021 exam centre in Dubai, on their social media page.
The NTA conducts the exams and has changed the last date from August 1st to August 6th.
