Niagara Falls was lit up with the colours of the Egyptian flag on Saturday to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the “23rd of July Revolution.”
Hundreds of members of the Egyptian community in Canada participated in the celebration, which was held under the patronage of the Egyptian Embassy in Ottawa, for the second year in a row.

The attendees took memorial pictures and invited family and friends in Egypt to follow the unique event online.
The Egyptian Embassy in Canada also invited the members of the community to participate in that unique moment, by taking memorial pictures and send them to the embassy's mail address, to be uploaded on its pages on the social media platforms.
