Children don't need appointment for vaccination in Abu Dhabi

The Department of Health - Abu Dhabi has affirmed that it is possible for children (3-7 years old) to get the vaccines, including Sinopharm without booking an appointment.
The Department added that senior citizens and residents can get the vaccine and the booster dose, 6 months after the second dose at all vaccination centres of “Seha” without prior appointment.
“Children of 12 and above can get the Pfizer-BioNTech also at these centres with no appointment,” the department added.
The Department invited parents to take their children to vaccination centres because it is important to get the vaccine.
It explained that the booster dose is aimed at enhancing and strengthening the immunity against virus and its new mutations.
Dr Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, Undersecretary of Health Department said, "We continue our ongoing efforts to preserve the health and safety of all members of the community, which is on the list of our priorities."
He added that this reflects the department keenness to provide vaccines as they are the way to resume the natural living style.
