The Sultanate of Oman announced on Thursday that visitors and travellers can enter the country only if they have taken two doses of the coronavirus approved by the Sultanate.
The authorities have also said visitors are required to undergo a PCR test prior to travel and upon arrival in the Sultanate.
A seven days quarantine is must for all with positive PCR test report. They need to take PCR test on the eighth day.
The decision will take effect from Sept.1.
The Omani authorities have eased a curfew imposed to combat the spread of COVID-19 by reopening public buildings, malls and restaurants and resuming public events.
Oman has shut down Shops and closed all commercial activities shuttered between 8:00pm and 4:00am since May.
The committee decided to adopt the general framework for operating schools in the Sultanate during the school year 2021 / 2022.
It is necessary to adhere to the application of all the precautionary measures contained in the health protocol in a manner that preserves the safety of male and female students and members of the teaching and administrative staff, provided that this is evaluated in accordance with the latest epidemiological situation in the Sultanate.
