Abu Dhabi residents must take Sinopharm booster shot before Sept.20 to access public places

Abu Dhabi has announced that individuals who received the second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine more than six months ago, must receive the booster dose to enhance their immunity and in compliance with the approved protocol for each vaccine.
The Emergency and Crisis team in Abu Dhabi mandates that all residents must get the booster before Sept20, 2021.
The Abu Dhabi Media office said, “Vaccinated individuals who received their second dose of Sinopharm vaccine more than six months ago must receive a booster dose to enhance their immunity and comply with approved health protocol for each vaccine.”
The authorities explained that the grace period lasts until Sept.20, 2021, so that the vaccinated people can obtain the dose and maintain the green status in the AlHosn application.
The team stressed that after Sept.20, only those who received the booster dose will be allowed to enter public places and those who have been fully vaccinated.
The authorities said that even after taking the vaccine, everyone must adhere to COVID-19 protocols and wear facemasks, avoid hand shakes and kissing to curb the spread of virus in the country.
