Fuel prices will drop slightly in September, as the price of gasoline will drop by 3 fils per litre, while the price of diesel will drop by 7 fils per litre, according to the UAE Fuel Price Follow-up Committee.
The price of Super 98 will drop to Dhs2.55 per litre for September, down from Dhs2.58 per litre in August, while the price of Special 95 will drop to Dhs2.44 per litre for September, down from Dhs2.47 per litre in August.
The price of E-Plus 91 will drop to Dhs2.36 per litre for September, down from Dhs2.39 per litre in August, while the price of diesel will drop to Dhs2.38 per litre for September, down from Dhs2.45 per litre in August.
The price of Opec basket of thirteen crudes stood at US$71.48 a barrel on Friday, 27th August, compared with US$70.75 the previous day, according to Opec Secretariat calculations.
The Opec Reference Basket of Crudes is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
