Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Petroleum Council (SPC) chaired a meeting of the Sharjah Media Council at the Al Suhub Rest House in Khorfakkan on Wednesday.
The Council said in an Instagram post, “The Sharjah Media Council extended its deepest thanks and gratitude to His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for allocating a plot of land for the endowment project, which constitutes a real estate with a value of Dhs10 million.
All proceeds go to support the humanitarian cases presented by the ‘Palm and Hope’ programme, which is broadcast on the Sharjah Satellite Channel.”
This statement came during the periodic meeting of the Sharjah Media Council, which was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, at the Rest House.
The council discussed a number of topics on the meeting's agenda related to developing the media aspects in the Emirate of Sharjah and projects and initiatives for the year 2021.
On Aug.9, 2021, Sheikh Sultan issued Emiri Decree regarding the appointment of a Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah.
Emiri Decree No. 25 of 2021 stipulates that Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi will be appointed as the Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah.
