Dubai is the city of wonders. From turning the desert dunes into skyscrapers and sea shores to residential areas, Dubai has no match when it comes to creativity. The city is a trendsetter, which others love to follow.
When Emirates Airlines shot an ad on the top of the Burj Khalifa, it grabbed the attention of the world. It gave businesses a new way of out of the box thinking for their advertisements.
In a video released in August this year, the Dubai-based airline’s ad showed a flight attendant, Nicole Smith-Ludvik, standing on the top of the Burj Khalifa to celebrate the UAE's move off the UK's red list.
It seems like a Pakistani restaurant Zameer Ansari was so impressed by the unique idea that it tried to copy it on its on way for its promotion.
Similar to the Emirates ad, Zameer Ansari’s video shows a woman standing on a height holding placards. The ad was shot to inform the customers about the restaurant’s rooftop dining services.
“Since 1984, Zameer Ansari has been on the top of the BBQ league. Now we are back! At the top of North Nazimabad,” read the placards.
Soon after the Karachi-based restaurant published video on its Instagram, it garnered the attention of the netizens.
“Proudly made in Pakistan,” the restaurant said in a social media post.
